Founded by ex-slaves,  Harriet and George Brice, who longed for a place in which they could freely worship, the church's mission has been to nurture a culture of servant leadership as The Word and God's love is shared with all.

Well over a hundred forty years later, Galloway United Methodist Church continues to stand as a strong spiritual presence serving the Falls Church community as not only a place of worship, but as a resource committed to spreading the Word and providing outreach services to anyone in need.
