Hi, I am James Page, Jr. the Senior Pastor at Galloway UMC in Falls Church, VA. I was born in Middleburg, VA in 1954 to the late Barbara and the late James Page, Sr.  I have two brothers and two sisters. I have been married to my wife Patricia (Trish) for 25 years and we have two children, James III, and Sarah.

I was educated in the Loudoun County School system where I graduated in 1973 from Loudoun Valley High School. I played basketball and ran track, and after graduating returned to Loudoun Valley to help as a volunteer in their track program for 20 years.

I entered the Pastoral ministry in 2008 and this ministry has given me opportunities to work with local and state officials on matters that concern the local church and beyond. While working as a part-time pastor I also worked a full-time job in the retail industry while earning my pastoral education at Duke Divinity School in Durham NC on the weekends.

 

I spent 20-plus years working with youth sports, mainly basketball, and softball. Working with and teaching our young people is one of my greatest joys.

Here at Galloway UMC, We are working to move the church in the direction of being a community church where we can help satisfy the needs of our neighbors who are so important to us.

We welcome all and our doors are always open for all who are seeking salvation though Jesus Christ.
